1. Scope of Data Protection

This privacy note applies to all personal data provided by but not limited to customers, interested parties, job applicants of GroupEAD for processing. It also applies to the information from which personal data are derived.

2. Control

Controller of this webpage is GroupEAD Europe S.L., Avenida de Castilla 2, Edificio Francia, 28830 San Fernando de Henares, Spain (hereinafter “GroupEAD”). 3. Collection and processing of personal data on publicly available areas of our webpage

You can use our webpage without disclosing your identity. In case GroupEAD explicitly asks you for personal information (e.g. name, e-mail address, country of residence), for example when you use the contact form, course enrolment (see 3.1) or subscribe for news (see 3.2) you do so voluntarily. GroupEAD only uses the information provided by you for our own business purposes, such as answering your question or sending you the requested material.

3.1. Contact Form and Course Enrolment

If you communicate with GroupEAD by using a contact form on this webpage, the information marked as “required” is necessary for GroupEAD to efficiently handle your enquiry. You may provide any further information voluntarily. GroupEAD thus processes the information provided by you through the contact form on the basis of your consent (Art 6 (1) a) GDPR).

Collection of Information

GroupEAD collects a range of information about you. This includes:

  • your name, address and contact details, including email address and telephone number
  • For course enrolment only: superior detail and postal address, company information, VAT number

Access to Data

Your information may be shared internally GroupEAD companywide for the purposes of the course enrolment or to answers to your concern. We will not share your data with third parties.

We take the security of your data seriously and we are compliant with the GDPR. We have internal policies and controls in place to ensure that your data is not lost, accidentally destroyed, misused or disclosed, and is not accessed except by our employees in the proper performance of their duties.

GroupEAD will delete this personal data once your enquiry has been resolved and our record retention obligations under applicable statutory regulations.

3.2. News Subscription

If you use subscribe for news form on our GroupEAD webpage, the information marked as “required” is necessary for GroupEAD to efficiently handle your subscription. You may provide any further information voluntarily. In case you have given consent to receive news or other information from GroupEAD, you may revoke this consent at any time without providing reasons.

Access to Data

Your information may be shared internally GroupEAD companywide for the purposes of any marketing and sales activities. GroupEAD only uses the information provided by you for our own business purposes and we will not share your data with third parties.

4. Collection and processing of Data of Job applicants

You can read our job offerings without having to disclose your identity. In order to apply for an offering or to express your general interest in working for GroupEAD, you need to fill out the Job Application Form.

GroupEAD has a legitimate interest in processing personal data during the recruitment process and for keeping records of the process. Processing data from job applicants allows us to manage the recruitment process, assess and confirm a candidate’s suitability for employment and decide to whom to offer a job. We need to process data to be able to contact you or to be able to enter into a contract with you. In some cases, we need to process data to ensure that we are complying with our legal obligations. For example, it is mandatory to check a successful applicant’s eligibility to work in a country before employment starts.

Collection of Information

GroupEAD collects a range of information about you. This includes:

  • your name, address and contact details, including email address and telephone number
  • details of your qualifications, skills, experience and employment history
  • information about your entitlement to work in the office which has the vacancy you have
    applied for.

GroupEAD may collect this information in a variety of ways. For example, data might be contained in application forms, CVs or resumes, obtained from your passport or other identity documents, or collected through interviews or other forms of assessment.

We may also collect personal data about you from third parties, such as references supplied by former employers. We will seek information from third parties only with your permission and will inform you that we are doing so.

Access to Data

Your information may be shared internally for the purposes of the recruitment process. This includes sharing information with members of the Human Resources and recruitment team, interviewers involved in the recruitment process, managers in the business area with a vacancy.

We will not share your data with third parties, unless your application for employment is successful and we make you an offer of employment. We may then share your data with third parties such as a payroll provider.

If your application for employment is unsuccessful, the organisation will hold your data on file for 1 (one) month after the end of the relevant recruitment process. If you agree to allow us to keep your personal data on file, we will hold your data on file for a total of 12 months for consideration for future employment opportunities. After this 12 months you will be asked for an extension of storage period. At the end of that period, or once you withdraw your consent, your data will be deleted or destroyed.

If your application for employment is successful, personal data gathered during the recruitment process will be transferred to your Human Resources file (electronic and paper based) and retained during your employment.

5. Cookies

The GroupEAD webpage uses cookies and in some cases third-party cookies to provide user a better experience and service. When navigating or using our services you agree to our use of cookies. It is however possible to configure your browser to prevent the generation of cookies and also to remove those already installed; please look for the relevant appropriate options in your browser. If you block the use of cookies on your browser, this may negatively influence some services, and some functions might become unavailable.

6. Transfer of your personal data

GroupEAD does not transfer your personal data to third parties unless you have explicitly consented to such a transfer or GroupEAD is entitled or obligated to do so, for example based on Art. 6 GDPR or under the laws of an EU or EEA member state.

7. Plugins

GoogleMaps

To find GroupEAD’s offices easily, GroupEAD offers you the use of Google Maps where you can see maps and create routes. Google Maps is operated by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. These sites will be made visible accordingly.

By using this service, you declare that you agree with the collection, processing and use of the self- entered data through Google. The Terms of Use of Google Maps can be found at https://www.google.com/intl/de_de/help/terms_maps.html (external site).

Youtube

To better inform you about what we do at GroupEAD, we have embedded video clips on certain pages of our webpage which are hosted by YouTube.

By visiting a site on our webpage which has an embedded clip hosted by YouTube, a connection to a YouTube server is made, and in this process the data made available by your browser, such as your full IP address, is collected and processed by YouTube.

YouTube is operated by YouTube LLC, with Head Quarter in 901 Cherry Avenue, San Bruno, CA 94066, USA (“YouTube”). YouTube is affiliated with Google LLC, and YouTube’s privacy policy currently points to Google LLC’s privacy policy.

Google Analytics

Our webpage uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service from Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (“Google”). Google Analytics uses so-called cookies, text files that are stored on your computer and allow analysing how you use our webpage. The information contained in these cookies (including your shortened IP address, so you remain anonymous towards Google) is transferred and stored on a Google server in the US. Google will use this information to evaluate how people use our webpage, prepare reports of webpage activities for us and deliver other services connected with the use of the webpage. Additionally, Google may transfer this information to third parties if it is legally required or if third parties process these data on request of Google. Google will not in any case establish a combination between your IP address and other data from Google.

8. Your rights as a concerned person

We hereby inform you that pursuant to Article 15 et seq. GDPR you have the right to obtain information on the personal data concerned, as well as rectification or deletion or limitation of processing or of a right to object to processing as well as of the personal data right to have data portability.

Likewise, under Article 77 of the GDPR, you have the right to complain to a data protection supervisory authority if you consider that the processing of your personal data in breach of the GDPR.

If the processing is based on Article 6 (1) (a) GDPR or Article 9 (2) (a) GDPR (consent), you also have the right to revoke the consent at any time without affecting the legality of the processing on the basis of the consent until the revocation. As a user of our webpage, you have this right when you have registered for a news-letter or as a job applicant, for example.

9. Change of our data protection policies and statements

We reserve the right to amend this Privacy Note from time to time so that it will always comply with legal requirements or to change our services in the Privacy Note, e.g. the introduction of new services. Therefore, a new Privacy Note will be valid if our webpage is accessed.
